We’re taking the traditional non-profit gala and flipping it over-easy. If you love brunch on a Saturday and are looking for a way to give back this holiday season, FundaMental Health’s Brunch with a View Gala is offering some of the best food in town and the opportunity to take action to improve access to mental health care right here in our community. We’re inviting friends, family, health care professionals, and community leaders to join us to kick start our mission.
The FundaMental Health Mission
FundaMental Health is a 501(c) non-profit organization on a mission to improve access to mental healthcare. We provide financial grants, treatment placement and care coordination for individuals in need, with the belief that bringing down the barriers to mental health care will fundamentally improve the lives and communities around us. We’re starting local in our home community of Greater San Diego, with plans to expand our programs to more locations as we grow.

We are currently offering individual tickets and corporate sponsorship tables. Each gala ticket covers the cost of the event as well as a (tax-deductible) donation to FundaMental Health.
Proceeds from the event will go towards FundaMental Health’s operations and grant program – focused on connecting individuals with high quality mental health providers from our network and covering the costs of their treatments.
Hear from our Luminary Speaker
We’re honored to have Elyn Saks as our speaker for our inaugural ‘Brunch with a View Gala.’ Elyn is a renowned author, professor of law, psychology, and psychiatry, and has given a TED talk with over 5 million views, while living with chronic schizophrenia. She will join us to share her personal experience and views on improving access to mental healthcare. Learn more

Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement that happens every year on the Tuesday after Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Our event is conveniently timed on Dec 2nd, making it a great way to get involved in GivingTuesday. Can’t make it this year and would still like to get involved? Every donation helps us fund mental healthcare in San Diego.
