At Fundamental Health, we believe everyone deserves access to mental health care, no matter their story or circumstance. The neighbors you meet here represent people in our communities who are struggling to get the therapy and support they need: a young person searching for safety and belonging, a veteran working to rebuild stability, an older adult facing loneliness and loss.
Together, these stories form a spectrum of need across age, identity, and experience. They remind us that while mental health is universal, access isn’t. Explore their stories, and if you feel called toward a certain neighbor, you can give directly there or just contribute to the General Neighbor Fund to help provide support for those most in need.

IN NEED?
Everyone deserves the chance to heal, to be heard, and to feel supported — yet too many people in our communities face barriers that make mental health care out of reach. Cost, stigma, and lack of access keep millions from getting the therapy they need to manage anxiety, depression, trauma, and everyday stress.
When people can’t access care, entire communities are affected. Families struggle, workplaces suffer, and individuals carry silent pain that could be eased with the right support. By helping provide therapy for our neighbors in need, we give people the tools to heal, rebuild stability, and reconnect with themselves and others.
At Fundamental Health, we believe that access to mental health care shouldn’t depend on income, background, or circumstance. Supporting our neighbors means investing in stronger, healthier communities — where everyone has the opportunity to find the care they deserve.

FUNDAMENTAL HEALTH?
FundaMental Health is 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization on a mission to improve access to mental healthcare.
We offer both financial assistance and care coordination to individuals in need, driven by our belief that improving mental health will enhance the lives and communities around us. Starting in our hometown of San Diego, we aim to expand our programs to Los Angeles and beyond as we continue to grow.
