We’re taking the traditional non-profit gala and flipping it over-easy. If you love brunch on a Saturday and are looking for a way to give back to your community, Fundamental Health’s Brunch with a View Gala is offering some of the best food in town and the opportunity to take action to improve access to mental health care right here in our community. We’re inviting friends, family, health care professionals, and community leaders to join us to kick start our mission.
The FundaMental Health Mission
FundaMental Health is a 501(c) non-profit organization on a mission to improve access to mental healthcare. We provide financial grants, treatment placement and care coordination for individuals in need, with the belief that bringing down the barriers to mental health care will fundamentally improve the lives and communities around us. We’re starting local in our home community of Greater San Diego, with plans to expand our programs to more locations as we grow.
Why Join Us
Join us on Saturday, August 23rd, for our annual brunch fundraiser to celebrate our first year of serving individuals in need of mental health care in San Diego County. This special morning will feature a delicious brunch buffet, bottomless mimosas, fine wine and craft beer tasting, live music, and beautiful views at Viewpoint Brewing Co.
Thanks to your incredible support last year, we launched our new model of care and grew from serving zero clients to welcoming 20 people into our program, providing them with access to the care they needed but previously couldn’t receive. These individuals have received funding for their mental health services, connections to quality providers, and ongoing support from our Care Coordination team. At this year’s brunch, you’ll hear directly from people who have personally experienced our care and support.
As we look to expand our efforts and support even more people on their mental health journeys, your involvement is more crucial than ever. Growing our team and operations will allow us to touch even more lives. Let’s come together to continue transforming how people experience and access mental health care throughout San Diego, up the coast, and beyond.
This event only happens once a year; please consider attending or giving as this day impacts the mental health care we provide for the next 365 days.
